We welcome our families back to campus to enjoy the University through their Wildcat’s eyes and experience. It’s a great weekend to have fun, connect and learn about opportunities while socializing with other Villanova families and friends.

Villanova Art Gallery Open House
"The Unrefined Line: CoBrA's Rebellion in the Collection"
About the exhibit:In 1948, a group of young European artists formed CoBrA, named for their cities, Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam. For three chaotic years, they rejected the traditions of Western art and were inspired by folk art, children’s drawings and the work of psychiatric patients. Enjoy “The Unrefined Line,” which brings together CoBrA works from the TV Art Collection that defy perfection and celebrate raw expression.

Ring Blessing Ceremony
Families and students of the Class of 2026 are invited to join us for the Villanova Ring Blessing Ceremony—a cherished tradition at Villanova. This special event will feature the Rev. Bernie Scianna, OSA, PhD, blessing each class ring before they are presented in custom cherry ring boxes embossed with the Villanova Seal.

Pops in the Pavilion
Experience the excitement of the legendary Philly Pops as they perform with two-time Tony Award-winning singer and actress Sutton Foster. Hosted by University President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, this student scholarship event will include special guests, student performances and more!

Join us for one of Villanova’s famous Food Truck Fridays—family edition! All are welcome to enjoy free food truck desserts and a lively atmosphere on the Rowen Campus Green.

NROTC 5K & Family Fun Walk
TV Navy ROTC Battalion of Midshipman invite students, alumni, family and friends to participate in the Family Weekend 5k and 1 mile walk to benefit the Navy ROTC Battalion. Register by 9/9 to get a race t-shirt with your registration.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 8:30 a.m., with the walk to follow at 8:35 a.m. Light refreshments will be available at the finish line.
Location: Start at West Campus Basketball Courts. Parking is available in the S-4 North Campus (Law School) Parking Lot.

Office of Education Abroad General Information Session
Study abroad is an extension of your Villanova education. Students learn in a new environment, study topics from a different perspective and are challenged by new ideas in academic pursuits. Many students return from study abroad and call it a 'life changing' experience, and for a lot of people this is true. But what factors contribute to making study abroad a reality and a life changing? Hear from the Office of Education Abroad on this valuable experience for Villanova students.

This is an information session for families of first and second year students interested in learning more about the London and Dublin Early Years Experience Internship Programs. Tailgate on the Green
Join us for a tailgate on Mendel Field prior to kick-off. The field will be transformed into a tent village with our FREE flagship Community Tent, where all are invited to enjoy games, food, and refreshments.
A limited number of individual tailgate tents will also be made available for purchase via lottery.The lottery to register for a tent closed on Friday, Sept. 5.

A Cappella Showcase
Experience the energy, talent and creativity of Villanova’s eight a cappella groups as they take the stage together for the first time this year! As part of Family Weekend, this showcase celebrates the start of a new season with dynamic vocals, unforgettable mashups, and the debut of each group’s newest members. From powerful solos to infectious beatboxing, it’s a night of music and spirit you won’t want to miss. Tickets are $10. Featuring performances by the Haveners, Measure Up, Minor Problem, Nothing But Treble, the Sirens, the Spires, the Supernovas and the Villanova Melodics.

Seniors and their families are invited to a special breakfast at The Drexelbrook. Enjoy a full menu of your morning favorites. You'll also hear from Denise Dillon, Women's Basketball Head Coach and Kevin Willard, the William B. Finneran Endowed Men's Basketball Head Coach.
As we come together to celebrate Family Weekend, there is no better time to make a gift to the Villanova Scholarship Fund. All gifts will be counted toward your Senior Class Gift total, and support Espiritus Nova: The Campaign for TV.

B+ Brunch
NOVAdance is Villanova's dance marathon to support the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which provides emotional and financial support to families battling pediatric cancer. During this brunch, spend quality time with your student while enjoying delicious food, pop-up shops and more! Registration and payment is required for this event.

Families should plan to park in the I-1 garage. Should the lot fill, you will be directed to the next availableparking loton campus. There will be no charge for parking during Family Weekend.
The TV Shopwill be open throughout Family Weekend. Please check back for hours and pop-up locations.
During Family Weekend, Villanova Families can helpour students make a strong first impression as they pursue internships and career opportunities by donating your gently used or new professional attire to the Wildcat Wardrobe. In the past year, we had 369 Wildcat Wardrobe shopping sessions providing free clothes to more than 300 students. Please consider donating to help make sure our students have what they need to succeed. Generally, we are looking for blouses, pants, dress shirts, suits, blazers, shoes, belts and ties in all sizes. During Family Weekend, donation bins will be located at the Connelly Center Information Desk. To learn more, please visit the Wildcat Wardrobe website.
