How did the Villanova MSF program prepare you for your career?

Villanova’s MSF program provided all the resources I needed to prepare for a successful career in finance—from exceptional professors and a strong alumni network to personalized career support, great facilities, and professional events. The small class size allowed me to build strong relationships with both professors and peers, helping me make the most out of the program. It’s a place that fosters a culture of hard work, respect, and excellence.

Was there specific MSF instructors/courses that had a critical impact on you?

Every instructor and course in the MSF program helped me grow in key areas, but if I had to highlight one, it would be Quantitative Finance with Dr. Rabih Moussawi. The course gave me a strong understanding of a growing field and fundamentally changed the way I think about investing. We not only learned about factor investing and implemented it through coding, but also reinforced our understanding through reading and real-world discussions.

How did your experience as part of an MSF student cohort add value to your growth as a finance professional?

Being part of the student cohort was a great experience that expanded my network, helped me make lasting friendships, and broadened my perspective. It was both personally and professionally enriching, and it’s something I would totally recommend to anyone considering the program.
