June is
Pride Month (LGBTQ+)
_________________________________________________________________
This month, we celebrate Pride Month—a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion, visibility, and equity for the LGBTQ+ community. At the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women's Leadership, we recognize how inclusive leadership is essential to driving meaningful change across gender and identity lines.
June also brings attention to global issues such as environmental justice, the rights of refugees, and the protection of children from labor exploitation. These themes echo our belief that advancing gender equity means addressing systemic barriers and embracing leadership that centers empathy, justice, and the well-being of all communities.
As we mark these awareness moments, we invite you to reflect on how equitable leadership can shape a more just and compassionate world.

Summer Book Club: The Secret Life of Sunflowers by Marta Molnar
Join the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership and the ÃÛÌÒTV Art Gallery for a special Summer Book Club on The Secret Life of Sunflowers by Marta Molnar. This dual-timeline novel explores the lives of two women—one modern, one historical—linked by a forgotten diary and a legacy of art and resilience. We have purchased a limited number of books for participants, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon registration, you will be added to a Teams group with a Book Chat for early discussion. Meet the author at the in-person meeting, and bring your books to be signed if desired!
